Cool Forest Ambassador
Head of Development, Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK)
"Forests provide a variety of goods and services. In family forestry we are concerned about the impacts of the warming climate on our boreal forests and the well-being of future generations. Reducing the use of fossil oil and coal is good for the climate. When shifting from fossil economy to bioeconomy, the sustainably managed, growing forests are of increasing importance in fulfilling the diverse needs of society. We need more research about climate change and the adaptation to it. That is why I support the IBRFA18 conference."
